Witness Appeal After Man Dies In Bury Collision

 The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 60s, suffered fatal injuries.

Police are appealing for information following a fatal road collision in Bury.

Shortly after 3.50am on Saturday 22 June 2019, a silver Hyundai i30 was travelling north-east along Croft Lane when it swerved across the carriageway and collided head-on with a brick building.

 The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 60s, suffered fatal injuries.

 No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

 Police are appealing for information on the incident.

 Sergeant Jon McColl of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of the man at this tragic time.

 “They are being supported by specialist officers while we ascertain the full circumstances surrounding this collision.

 “Were you in the area at the time of the incident, or do you have any information or dashcam footage that might assist our investigations?

 “If so, please get in touch as soon as possible.”
