Yesterday, Sergeant Brett France left Royal Bolton Hospital after spending three months battling COVID-19.
Brett was welcomed by family, friends & colleagues who wanted to join in & celebrate his recovery.
He has nearly 20 years experience with Greater Manchester Police, currently working in Command and Control in our Operational Communications Branch.
Chief Superintendent Paul Clements commented “It was such a relief to see Brett leave hospital today. He was so very nearly taken from us. His recovery is testament to his courage, the love and support of his wife Jacqueline and his two boys Henry and Alex, and the outstanding care given to him by the staff at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
"Brett is a much-loved officer, dedicated to his colleagues and the communities of Greater Manchester. Our prayers have been answered today”
