Police Are Appealing For Information Following A Shooting In Bolton

Police are appealing for information after shots were fired at a property in the Hulton area of Bolton. 

Police were called just before midnight on Wednesday 29 May 2019 to reports that a firearm had been discharged at the window of a ground floor flat in St Helens Road. 

Officers attended the scene and confirmed there were no injuries to the occupant of the address. 

It is believed to have been a targeted attack. 

Detective Inspector Stephanie Parker, from GMP’s Bolton District, said: “We would like to reassure the public that there currently isn’t believed to be any wider risk to the local community. 

“As our enquiries continue we are appealing for information from anyone who has recently witnessed criminal or anti-social behaviour in the Hulton area to contact us.”
