At around 1.45pm on Sunday 10 police were called to Bury New Road to reports that a pink "party bus" had been commandeered by some of its passengers, and had collided with two teenage boys.
Police attended, however the passengers had made off from the scene.
Thankfully the boys received minor injuries.
The official driver of the bus, who was hired to drive the private hire vehicle, has given an account to police and is being treated as a victim in this incident.
Any investigation is now underway and police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
