"Officers are supporting Maggie's family as we continue with our investigation and there will be a noticeably increased police presence in the Breightmet area over the coming days.

"This is as part of the search for Maggie, but if you have any information to pass on to us, please feel free to approach officers.

"We also have a dedicated line set up for information relating to this investigation, so please speak to detectives without delay."

Maggie's described as a white female, of slim build, with shoulder length black hair and around 5ft 4inches tall. She was last seen wearing black jeans, a black vest top, grey Nike trainers and a green waist length coat with a fur lined hood.
