Man Rushed To Hospital After Being Stabbed In Bolton

Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in Bolton this morning.

A cordon is in place on Chorley Old Road and on Spinning Meadows.

Officers were called at around 12.30 this morning and the man in his 30s, is in hospital

In a statement Greater Manchester Police said

"At around 12.25am  police were called to reports that a man had been stabbed on Spinning Meadow in Bolton. 

A man in his 30’s was taken to hospital with multiple injuries to his head and to his body. He remains there in a serious but stable condition. 

There is a cordon in place on Chorley Old Road while investigation work is carried out. 

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
