Bury man charged in latest raids to tackle drugs and organised crime

A Bury man has been arrested following raids to tackle drugs and organised crime in Greater Manchester.

Adil Choudhry, 33, of Belbeck Street has been charged with possession of firearms with intent to endanger life, conspiracy to supply both class A and B drugs and money laundering.

Another man, Haider Ali, 24, is charged with possession of firearms with intent to endanger life, conspiracy to supply class B drugs and conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

They were both remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court this morning (Saturday 2 March 2019).

It follows warrants on Thursday 28 February across Greater Manchester aimed at disrupting the supply of drugs and organised crime. Several firearms, cannabis and cocaine were all seized.
