A church in Bury that was forced to close just before Chistmas after an arson attack has partly reopened today.
Heaton Park Methodist provides support to the homeless as well as local people but had to close it's doors after being set on fire just before Christmas.
Reverend Jez Hackett told us the support they've had since the blaze has been fantastic: "We're really grateful for the amazing responses from other churches and people around the community to help out and clean up.
"Someone came down the day after it happened to help our caretaker to go round and secure the building and spent hours here boarding things up, people have been fantastic to see."
It will take another few months before the prayer room can be reopened as that's where the fire started.
