Man Charged After Crash In Bolton That Left Pensioner Dead

68 year old Navnit Tailor of Queensgate, Bolton has been charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention.

He has been bailed to appear at Bolton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 5 May.

On Friday 9 October 2017, police were called to reports of a collision between an Audi A4 and a pedestrian on the westbound carriageway of Topp Way.

The pedestrian, 72-year-old Anthony Locke, was taken to hospital where he sadly died from his injuries. 

Officers are still looking for a red Toyota Aygo and witnesses are encouraged to come forward.
