A boy has been charged after a man was attacked in Bury.
At around 11.45pm on Friday 12 October police were called to Bolton Street in Bury after a man was assaulted and left with serious injuries to his head.
Police and Ambulance services attended and the man was taken to hospital with what are believed to be knife injuries to his head and face.
On Friday 2 November 2018, a 17-year-old boy was charged with a section 18 assault, wounding with intent, he has since appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court where he has been remanded into custody.
Police are still actively seeking witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
