Bolton Players Continue 48 Hour Strike In Row Over Unpaid Wages

Players are refusing to turn up to training as a mark of solidarity with club staff who have yet to be paid their wages for March.

It's the second month in a row that salaries have been late as embattled club owner Ken Anderson continues to work on securing a takeover of the club.

Bolton Wanderers are back in court tomorrow to face a winding up petition from HMRC who are trying to claim £1.2M in unpaid tax.

The proceedings were adjourned two weeks ago to allow the club to find a buyer who would clear their debts.

If a deal isn't done by the deadline tomorrow then the club again face the prospect of being placed into administration or worse liquidation.

Reports suggest Former Watford owner Laurence Bassini is in talks to take the helm at Wanderers.
