Wanderers Assistant Says They Can't Feel Sorry For Themselves

Bolton assistant Steve Parkin says they can't afford to dwell on their poor form.

Wanderers lost 2-0 at Sheffield United in the Championship on Saturday and sit three points adrift of safety.

It's been a turbulent season for the club so far both on and off the field.

Parkin says they need to roll their sleeves up and fight their way out of trouble:

"It's important that we don't get our heads down too much.

"We totally accept the frustrations of the supporters.

"It's a tough year for us but last year was a tough year as well and we came through it.  We've got to do it again."

"It's quite alarming in the Championship how much strength these teams have got.

"We've not got that so we've got to rely on spirit and organisation and making sure we stay in games as long as we can and making sure we win some matches in the next couple of weeks because it's very important."
