Parkinson "Hopeful" Of Getting New Faces Into The Squad This Month

Away from off the pitch matters Bolton Manager Phil Parkinson says he's hopeful of getting some fresh talent into the squad by the end of January.

There is currently some confusion about whether Bolton can register new players or not.

The EFL have been advising the club after a registration embargo was put in place.

However Phil Parkinson is hopeful it will be sorted out so he can refresh the squad this month.

"The chairman is working with the football league to rectify the situation" Parkinson told us

"Hopefully that will be resolved because I think everyone can see other clubs have been active in the transfer market in and around us already"

"Hopefully we can work towards that. There is work to be done on the squad before the end of January but if it isn't we've got to focus on the players we've got and we've got some very good ones"

Bolton are next in action away to Bristol City on Saturday. Full match commentary on 107.4 Tower FM.
