Danny Mayor Leaves for Plymouth

Attacking Midfielder Danny Mayor has completed his transfer from Bury to Plymouth to join former Shakers boss Ryan Lowe.

The 28 year old released a statement on social media at the weekend thanking the fans for their support.

He's the latest player to find a new club as the ongoing financial problems continue.

Nicky Maynard also announced on social media at the weekend that he will leave the club this summer.

Tower FM also expects striker Dom Telford to join his former manager in the South West.

We understand just five players turned for the first day of pre season training this morning - although there were no coaches to train them.

Meanwhile Bury are at risk of being kicked out of their Carrington Training Ground.

They're expected to be issued a "notice to quit" after failing to uphold their agreement with landlords Manchester City

Bury have been using the facilities since 2015 after City moved into their state of the art  City Football Academy facility.

It's reported that City are claiming they have failed to fulfil their obligations in the deal, which stipulated that they had to keep the buildings and pitches well maintained.
