Bolton boss Phil Parkinson has been served a two-match touchline ban and fined £3,000 for his part in a confrontation in last month's match against Leeds United.
Wanderers have also been fined £8,000 for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.
Leeds received a £5,000 fine.
It relates to the 69th minute of Bolton's 2-1 defeat at Elland Road last month.
Parkinson, who was sent to the stands, accepted a charge of misconduct in relation to his language and behaviour.
He'll now miss their home games against Millwall on Saturday and Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.
