This is your chance to support your local hospice in a nationwide fundraising event. Over 3000 runners are expected to take part in the doitforcharity.com 5km run series. A special evening at Bury Town Hall on the 4th July has been organised to raise much needed funds for Manchester Pendlebury Childrens' Hospital. My son had a kidney operation there when he was just a few months old, so I have seen first hand the amazing work which the Hospital does. My best friends' little girl will soon be having a hole in the heart operation under their care. ( More )
