On Today's Tower FM Breakfast with Jon & Vix...
Vix needed some advice. It’s her daughter’s birthday tomorrow and she is wondering if you are allowed to send your kid to school with birthday cake and sweets for the class these days? Jon thought she might get hunted down by Jamie Oliver and the carrot police. Michelle rang up to say it’s fine if you ask the teacher first! Haribo is accepted apparently.
Jon & Vix got talking about the fact that hearing the voice of a mum is the same as getting a hug – it reassures us and relieves stress. Jon thought it was a load of rubbish so we got Mum’s to call us with their best mum voices. Kate rang up – Jon thought she sounded like she should be on one of those 0901 lines charging £10/minute. Anette rang up with her Mum voice – which sounds more like she’s telling you off than being nice to you! We also got onto Mum hugs….Vix mentioned "the boob hug” which you get from Mum.
Vix has ordered a book called "Intensive Fitness” to help with her training for the Bolton Hospice Midnight Walk on Saturday 30th June. Jon argued that a book will not get her fit…getting off her fat bum would though!
