The family of a man killed following a
road traffic collision in Bolton have paid tribute to him.
Around 1am on Thursday 2 August 2012,
24-year-old Umer Mohammed was driving a Honda Civic along Newbrook Road, Over
Hulton when it is believed he lost control of the vehicle and collided with
three parked cars.
He was
thrown through the rear windscreen and landed on the pavement.
He was taken to hospital
suffering from life-threatening head injuries and died on Friday 10 August 2012.
Paying tribute, his
family said: Umer, you were the most beloved son, brother and friend.
"Although you have left
us. Your spirit and your presence will forever live in our hearts and in our
minds."
"For all those
who had the privilege and honour of knowing you. Umer, we are the blessed
parents, families and friends who have been in your company. We can honestly say
that you were an inspiration and mentor.
"Our loss is surely heaven's gain.
"Forever in our hearts"
