A teenager has died following a collision on an access road within the grounds of the Trafford Centre.

The collision took place shortly before 5pm on Saturday 9 June 2012, on an outer ring road of the west side of the complex which links the car parks.

Officers attended and found that a bicycle and a HGV had been in collision.

The rider of the bike, 19-year-old Georgia Ellen Flynn, from Sale, suffered extensive injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Nobody else was injured in the collision.
