Hotel staff have been threatened by men carrying an axe and a knife during a robbery in Bolton.
Shortly before 8.25pm on Sunday 13 May 2012, two armed men went into the Travelodge on River Street, jumped over the reception counter and threatened two staff.
They stole a small amount of cash and escaped through a nearby subway and along Castle Street in the town centre.
Both men were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.
Detective Inspector Gary Smith, of Bolton CID, said: "The offenders armed themselves with weapons and frightened two people who were just doing their job.
"Thankfully no one was injured but they have been left understandably shaken.
"Those responsible have risked many years in prison for the sake of just a few pounds.
"We are determined to identify them and bring them to justice and if anyone has any information that can help please get in touch.”
