Details on road closures in Eagley

Motorists are being warned of a road closure on Eagley Bridge for two weekends this month.

The road over Eagley Bridge, Eagley Way, will need to be closed on July 7 and 8, and July 14 and 15. The closure will be in effect from 7am on Saturday to 6pm on Sunday.
 
The work has been scheduled to take place at weekends in an effort to minimise disruption and the adjacent footbridge will remain open while the work is underway.
 
Hough Lane will be opened both weekends and a signposted diversion will be in place.
 
Residents and motorists are asked to be patient while work is underway. The work is to investigate how the bridge could be improved.
