Closing speeches at Shafilea Ahmed murder trial
The jury at the Shafilea Ahmed murder trial's been told one of her sisters, who claimed all the family had seen their mum and dad suffocate Shafilea, is a liar.
Iftikhar and Farzana Ahmed are accused of killing Shafilea at their home in Warrington, nine years ago, for bringing shame on the family.
At the start of their murder trial at Chester Crown Court, Alisha Ahmed told the court her, her two sisters, and their brother, had all seen their mum and dad suffocate Shafilea with a plastic bag after a row about her clothes.
Today (Monday), Farzana Ahmed's defence is closing it's case, and has told the court Alisha gave different accounts of Shafilea's death.
The court's also been told Alisha's friends called her a 'storyteller'.
Iftikhar and Farzana Ahmed deny murdering Shafilea at their home in Warrington nine years ago.
Farzana's since changed her story, to say her husband did attack Shafilea.
Her defence is now closing it's case.
