Police are appealing for the public's help to trace the next of kin of a Bolton man.

At about 5.30pm on Sunday 3 June 2012, police were called to Haslam Park in Bolton following reports a dog walker had discovered the body of a man.

Officers attended and a cordon was put in place in the park while an investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the man's death was launched.

He was later identified as a 50-year-old man, thought to be from the Bolton area.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and the details have been passed to the coroner.

Police are now trying to trace his next of kin and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
