A 12 year old girl's been sexually assaulted in a field in Bolton
At about 5.15pm on 28 July 2012, the 12-year-old girl was on a field off High Bank Street, Tonge Fold, when the offender approached her.
He said: "Come to mine”, before sexually assaulting the girl, who managed to hit him and run away.
He is described as a white man, tanned, between 30 and 35 years old, 5ft in tall, of medium build with short black hair.
He had a black and green tattoo on his left bicep and another on his stomach.
He was wearing black Nike trainers, black shorts and a hooded black jacket.
Detective Constable Stuart Round, said: "The victim has provided an extremely detailed description of the offender and I would urge anyone thinks they know who is responsible to call me.
"Incidents such as this are rare but because of this incident we would urge parents to be mindful of where their children are during the summer break and for them not to be out alone if possible.”
